Carolina Specialty Tools announces the expansion of its present tool manufacturing facility with groundbreaking ceremonies held September 1, 2000. Grading for the new building, which will be built to 20,000 square feet with future expansion capabilities to 40,000 square feet, also began September 1.
Carolina Specialty Tools President Tim Weaver said the company's growth led to the need to expand the operation.
"Carolina Specialty Tools' success in the woodworking industry along with our new, state-of-the-art CNC milling, turning and grinding equipment made the new building necessary," Weaver said.
Carolina Specialty Tools, in business for over 10 years, is an industry leader in custom design and manufacture of high-tech woodworking tools.
Weaver expects construction on Carolina Specialty Tools' facility will be complete by Spring 2004.
